WE FINISHED IN 36hrs 28mins!!!!
Team 253 has finished for the second year in a row. The team crossed the finish line in 36 hours and 28 mins. We were elated, a blistering last 11km (where we walked faster than any other section) set us up to finish just outside our 36 hour target! We finished well with feet full of blisters and exhaustion! A massive THANK YOU to our support crew and all our supporters, you are all fantastic! If you are yet to donate, you still can we have until 21st October to finalise our total and are well on our way to $10,000.

Almost there
Well the team has been training well, clocking up kilometres at a rapid rate. We have walked over 50km in a weekend and are looking good. With the event looming it is one more long walk before we rest and taper! The picture is us on one of our early morning walk, with the mist in the background. On the fundraising side we are going well but are still after more. We are hosting a movie night on the 21st August in town and also holding a raffle with prizes worth over $600. Team 253 together!!!!
Well the team has finally gotten together for our first hit out! A very easy 22km with all of us enjoying the walk. Next week we are off for 39km on the first 3 sections. So that will be a big one for us. With just over 7 weeks till the big walk, do something good and donate too our team! The money we raise goes to people in the world who walk long distances everyday just to get water! They can't even afford simple medical supplies. So help them out, help us reach our target of $5000 and feel good that you've done something great!

Training well underway
Well the team is finally finalised. We welcome Sophia to the team! So to team 253 - To the End we Go is ready for the event. So far we have been out walking and finished a 34km trek on the weekend. With the walkers feeling tired but elated to have hiked so far. Our next month of walks is huge with two 40km and one 50km planned, completing all this should leave the team ready for the big day! With training going well we turn our attention to fundraising. The end of the financial year is upon us and with last pays in the bank account, think about doing something for those less fortunate than ourselves and donate. All donations are tax deductible, so end the financial year with a great feeling and donate now. We are trying to raise $5000 so please help out if you can! Stay tuned a team photo of all 4 us will be put one the website soon.

Team 253 To the End We Go Back again!!!!
Well the team of 4 crossed the line last year in just over 40 hours. We are back this year with new team member's (still being finalised), for a crack at breaking a day and half, or 36 hours! Once again we are attempting to raise over $5000 for those less fortunate and finish as a triumphant team of 4! Get behind us and donate today.
