March Update

Hi again, Well, with Summer behind us we have done some serious walking and have made a few changes along the way. We have a dedicated support crew of Stuart (AKA "Spoons") Avery and the lovely Ms Rosa Avery...they have walked all our training walks and endured the sweat, blisters and love of the pounding of the foot path. Sadly Anthony has had to withdraw from the team due to injury, however he has been replaced by non other than our support crews, Mr Stuart (AKA "Spoons") Avery. After Spoon's completion of the Kakoda trail he can walk anything! Anthony has slipped into a support crew role and cant wait for him to deliver dinner on race day. Thank you everyone for your donations, will keep you posted on our progress, we have another 50km training walk coming up which will no doubt have some more interesting hills to climb! Thanks again, The Blisters!

"The Blisters"

Hi everyone, Thanks for visiting our web page and donating money. 100km is a long way. We decided to call ourselves the Blisters as Veteran walkers Robyn and Jane both suffered forms of blisters in the 2008 Oxfam Trailwalker. At least they have some idea as to what they are in for.....Anthony and I have no idea what to expect. Keep visiting our page to hear how our training is going...I'm sure we will have some stories to share. Thanks again for your donation Sarah, Robyn, Jane and Anthony.
