1000 Stairs Training Walk

post image

Simon, David (pictured) and myself (Darren) got up early on Sunday morning and tackled the 1000 stairs at Ferntree Gully. It was a beautiful morning, we walked for 4 hours, through the tracks near Olinda. We also tackled Hacketts Hill, a real challenge, as anyone who has walked it would know.

5Ways Food Service

post image

Thank you to Dave, Mina and the team at 5Ways food service, coming on board as a major sponsor . I think Dave won most of the money back off Simon in their annual golf trip down to Barnbougle Dunes! Simon kept up the good work by selling a couple of our auction items to the boys down on the apple isle (must of been in between beers).

Major Sponsor Signed

Along with a financial contribution from CHEP, we have also been invited to participate in the CHEP golf day on the 15th of March at Spring Valley Golf Course. We will be doing some fundraising on the day. Darren will be giving some golf tuition as well as running a 'nearest the pin' competition on the par 3 10th hole. We will also use some silent auction items on the day to raise more money. THANKS CHEP AUSTRALIA
