WE'VE DONE IT!
Yes we completed Trailwalker after 34 hours and 35 minutes yesterday at 5.35pm! We are elated, sore and very happy it's over. Our children - Angus and Anna - are still speaking to us which is a bonus. They were incredibly brave, committed and determined. Listening to Richard and I for 100km made these attributes essential. Thanks to our amazing support crew Aicha, Stuart, Anna and Wendy. Thanks to Brent and Lilly - Chris' physios that got him to the start line (and who I will be visting again soon!). And a huge thanks to all our supporters,. We are now very nearly at our target! Chris & Richard

Angus and Richard are unimpressed by the news that we are not going to pick up KFC on the way home...

Sunday 14th March
Picture of a seemingly happy team after completing a 35km walk from Lysterfield to Silvan dam. This portrait of contentment belies some of the underlying dyanmics caused by a) Cath Rouse's map reading which added a few kilometres we didn't need to do, b) Karen leaving her phone at a rest stop and having to go back and get it whilst everyone else hung about and c) Angus fearing he wasn't going to get his tea until midnight.

Team planning meeting 2
Chris explains the details of the merits of vaseline versus sudocrem, to an extremely uninterested Angus, whilst Richard maintains his usual training regime.

Team Planning Meeting 1
The Chaffing Kennys get down to some serious planning with their wonderful support crews (Stuart and Aicha on Day 1) and (Anna and Wendy on day 2). Golf ball sized hailstones did not prevent some important bonding, albeit not on the trail!
26 January
Wilsons Prom 2
Also had a great Swim at Little Oberon Bay during the course of another walk
26 January

The team has done some great Walks around Wilsons Prom including a trek - all together - up Mount Oberon

Trailwalker No.10!
Yes, Richard and I are doing our combined 10th Trailwalker. No. 6 for Richard and No.4 for Chris. This time we are taking my son - Angus - and Richard's daughter - Anna. Please give generously! Chris
