Support Team
This is a photo of the summit of Mount Loch. I would also like to thank Bradley Gibbs, Sarah Deman and Jerome Ringot for accepting to be part of our support team for the walk. Without these people, we would not make the 100k's or have ice cold champagne and beer when we cross the finish line on Saturday morning. Thanks :)

The other part of the walking weekend in the grampians

A very late update
It has been a long time since I have updated this page and will give an update of some training walks that the team has done to date. The first, which was mentioned in the initial post was the Grampians. We spent a nice weekend in the national park and did a short but tough walk on the first afternoon, and on the second day, a few of us did some rock climbing. After christmas, we have not been training as a team, but all of us have still been training. We all went to Wilsons Prom on a loverly weekend in Feb, but Gael forgot his walking shoes, so Alexis, Denis and Myself (along with a group of others) all did 30k's in the hot weather and cooled off in the ocean. Due to Alexis and myself joining a local soccer team, birthdays and numerous social events, training together has been quite hard to organise, but all of the team are motivated and are keeping fit and doing their own training walks. On the easter weekend, we all went spearate ways (hopefully the others did some walking) and I went to the Alpine National park to do 32k's of walking through the mountains (very tough) followed by an attempted ride up the road to Mount Hotham (did 23k's uphill before cramps got the better of me). Our hard training should now be coming to an end as we need to recover in time for the big event, 11 days away. A short night walk is planned this weekend to see how we all go walking in the dark.
