Taken up the challenge 26 November

After we finished the 2008 Oxfam Trailwalker we all said we will not do it again… Little did we know we would reaffirm our commitment to participate again in this endurance exercise once we got the Melbourne Marathon out of the way. We feel privileged we are able to take part in this very important event in Australia’s calendar, because aside from allowing us to achieve successfully a physical challenge it enables us to support an organisation that is doing a job of good will in supporting sustainable development in poor countries. Supporting causes of eradicating poverty and hunger in under developed countries is even more critical in times like now – of extreme economic duress world wide. We believe in the UN’s millennium development goal of eradicating poverty and hunger. The original team has signed up. We have agreed on our training program and estimated finish time of 17 hours. We are very grateful to our fabulous support crew who has endeavoured to keep us in line till the finish lane. Your words of support, daring encouragement and your philanthropic support made a world of difference to us last April. We would like you to consider supporting us once again. Jane, Kate, David and Angel
