Our first two donors!
Thanks Liza, my lovely sister for being the first donor! Another huge thank you to my dad John Kenning for sponsoring us $200. We had our first team meeting last week and walked from Port Melbourne down to Mordiallic. It was a beautiful day, not too hot, we were blessed with a sea breeze also. We covered 28Km in less than six hours. I think what pushed the team was the thought of a great lunch and ice-cold beer at the end of the walk! We couldn't be bothered with public transport, so we jumped in a taxi back to town. What was really scary was realising how quickly 28Kms disappears when you are driving, it takes a lot longer on foot. Stay tuned for more updates on our progress.
