Our Second Practice Walk
It was glorious weather last Saturday afternoon when we all met at Grant's Picnic Ground to walk the 38.8kms to Woori Yallock Primary School. We started at 4pm and finished by 10:40pm, a good effort. It was a very worthwhile walk, as we were able to find our way through the labyrinth of paths as you descend from Olinda, and hope we can remember the correct route in 3 1/2 weeks time. It was also good to experience the relentlessly flat and tedious Warburton Trail as a team. We all got through without blisters or injuries which was great. We are still looking to do around the 21 hour mark if all goes well. If you are intending to donate, please do so soon, as we have set a high target for ourselves!
