War has been declared
War has been declared on Wheelers Hill and the Yarra Valley as The Centurions have committed to becoming the commanders (commandettes?) of 100km in mid April 2010. Training began in mid January under the specialists guidance from master athlete Nick Aston. A 12 week plan lay ahead of us as team members fled Melbourne to the far reaches of the world- Las Vegas, New York, Bundaberg and...Rio, have you been anywhere?... We have now crossed the halfway mark and the Oxfam 100km Trailwalker is no longer just a mirage on the horizon. We will continue to tone our legs and sharpen our minds towards our goal of commanding 100km in under 24 hours. Details to come regarding a TRIVIA FUNDRAISING NIGHT in South Melbourne Thursday APRIL 1st... keep tuned and we will keep running....
