Hurrikane's primed for a blinder
The team has had its first and last training session as a full team of four starting at the Belgrave Swimming pool. The session covered Sherbrooke forest, Hackett's road, the Olinda decline and the Warburton trail, totalling 45km in 7.5 hrs. The form of all members looked good with everyone running the last kilometer back to the car. The Hurricanes are now targetting a 22hr finish time, which will have them arriving at Westburn Park at 6:30 m on Saturday morning 17 Apr 10.

30km warm up
3/4 of the Kane Construxtions Oxfam trailwalker team warmed up on Sunday with a lazy 30km in 5 hours taking in the sights of the city via the Capital city trail. Not even the crowds in the Southgate markets could stop the team as they powered through eating 6km of trail each hour. Feet and hamstrings a bit tender allround, but otherwise the team is looking good in the lead up to the event. The remaining quarter of the team, Ryan Eagles, was unable to attend, but will need to get on it to avoid the premonitions of Ben Barrett coming true.
