Oxfam TRAILWALKER Around the World
Oxfam TRAILWALKER began in 1981 as a military exercise for the elite Queen's Gurkha Signals Regiment in Hong Kong. Since then it has grown into one of the world's leading team endurance challenges.
Oxfam TRAILWALKER is becoming a global phenomenon: eleven events in nine countries and counting.
Oxfam TRAILWALKER is currently held in Hong Kong, New Zealand, Melbourne, Sydney, the UK , Japan. and Belgium. Oxfam Great Britain held their inaugural Trailtrekker on 30-31 May 2009 and Ireland will hold its inaugural Trailtrekker event on 26–27 September 2009. Oxfam Novib, in The Netherlands, hosted their first Oxfam Trailwalker on 20-21June 2009 and Canada followed with their first on 24 July 2009. Look out for news on additional Oxfam Trailwalkers coming in 2010.
